WOW!!!!! What an incredible week this has been for Southern Raised! I have LOTS of pics to share along with stories and experiences. I will do it over more than one post…..sooo…..here is the first one!:) I am on the road right now as I post! We are heading to South Carolina for the TV shoot we are doing this evening. Then we head to North Carolina for a little sight seeing:)…….I am excited about that! Then hop over the North Carolina and Tennessee border and play Wednesday night in Erwin TN. BUT…….let me get right into our week at NQC!

We set up our booth on Monday before the exhibitor hall opened. It was all hustle and bustle around there as groups scurried to finish touches on their booths before the 4pm opening!

We had set up all of our booth banners, tables, posters and so forth at home already:)……just for a practice run!!! So, it went pretty quick when we tore into it!

It was really a little weird seeing yourself on a 10×10 banner!!! I don’t know, but your head blown up that big……….man:)………a little different!!!

When we were loading in….we ran into Ben Rochester! We love the Rochester Family and their music! Super sweet and genuine people!! So….we posed for a quick pic!

More set up of the booth!…………………………………………………………………………………………….

Our booth number was 961……..here is a pic of our isle sign……this is how you found your way around!!! Look for the BIG isle signs hanging on the ceiling!!!!……you can get lost if you don’t!:)…lol

We were blessed to develop a friendship with Mr. Randy Shelnut of the Dixie Echoes. They are an amazing group that we first met at Silver Dollar City this year. During the NQC ,he would drop by our booth every now and again and he was so kind to even give us tips on vocals and harmony! He was a blessing and we are glad we had the chance to become friends! Here is a pic of him at our booth helping with vocals!

……………………………One huge highlight from our time at NQC was the radio interviews we did with Les Butler for the Front Porch Fellowship!!! Southern Raised will be the Spotlight Artist for the last 2 weeks of September and all of October….So, please listen for us on the Solid Gospel Networks….you can go the the Singing News website and listen online, this will air on Saturdays and Sundays!!! TUNE IN!:):)……………..Mr. Butler was super nice and we had an awesome time with him during the interviews!!! Loved it!:)……………………………………………………………………………………………

He wanted it to be kinda spontaneous…..:):)….so, we just sat down and talked! He asked questions and had a good time!

We ran into Jeff Easter while heading to Freedom Hall one day and asked for a quick pic…he said “just follow me down to the food court and we can get Sheri too! I am meeting her there!” Soo….here it is:)

…………………..We participated in the Regional Artist Showcase and had a good time singing for an awesome crowd!…………………………………………………………………

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

………………..KWFC, which is a station that is based out of Springfield,MO, came out to the NQC…..Mr. Dave Taylor from the station came by our booth and had me read about 4 verses for their “verse of the day” back home………………………………………………………………………
