National Quartet Convention 2!

Emily and Jim Brady of the Booth Brothers

Here is post number 2 of the National Quartet Convention!  The pics below are of Ben Isaacs spending some time at our booth and helping me with the bass!  He stopped by and took alot of time showing me tips and playing my bass.  He then invited me to follow him over to their booth so I could look at and play his bass!  He was very kind and here are several pics of this!

Ben playing my bass……………….it sounded goood:)

He showed me the method he uses in slapping the bass and gave me ideas for better tone on my bass.

We were honored to meet Mr. Andrew Phipps!  He has been playing us on his television program in Indiana for a long time now and it was great to meet him!  Be sure and check out Phipp’s Gospel Hour if you are in his area in Indiana!  He is actually showing a new footage of us right now!

We love our parents both so much and could not do what we do without them!  They sacrifice so much to make it possible!

Matthew and Ronnie Booth of the Booth Brothers

What an absolute joy it was to meet the Booth Brothers!!!  They were such a blessing and encouragement to us as a group!!!  The Booth Brothers manager had heard us jamming in the lobby and went back telling them about us!  So….we were introduced and were blessed to get to visit quite alot with them.  If there was one word that I could describe them with it would be HUMBLE!  They were real and down to earth and kept encouraging us to stay humble.  They said “God does not give us platforms and audiences to puff up our ego, He gives us that for ministry.”  Very well put!
